At a Christmas party, people eat, laugh and take photos – and the next day it's all scattered across twenty different phones. A digital guest book gathers the best moments in one place: every guest scans a QR code, writes a few lines and uploads a photo.
How to set it up
- Create a guest book. In Pagefully, choose the Guest Book template and adjust the title and fields, for example "My highlight of the year" and "A photo from the evening".
- Choose the "Christmas" colour scheme. Under Settings → Color scheme there's a festive red-and-gold Christmas theme – your guests will see it when they scan the code.
- Print the QR poster. In the "Share" tab you can download a ready-made A4 poster with a QR code. Put it next to the mulled wine stand, by the cloakroom or on every table.
- Celebrate. Entries appear instantly – and, if you like, as a colourful pinboard too, which looks great on a big screen in the room.
Ideas for questions and fields
For the office party
- My team highlight this year
- What I'm looking forward to next year
- A photo from the evening
For the family gathering
- My favourite Christmas memory
- What did Grandma always make?
- Group photo by the tree
For Secret Santa with friends
- My Secret Santa gift in three words
- Who made me laugh the most this year?
- My New Year's resolution (which I won't keep anyway)
No name needed?
For relaxed groups, you can turn off "Name required" when creating the book, so guests don't have to give their name. That makes it anonymous – perfect for honest looks back at the year or funny confessions.
After the party
All entries can be exported as a PDF, and the photos downloaded as a ZIP. That turns the evening into a keepsake book you can open again next year. With a closing date, the book automatically stops accepting new entries after the holidays.
Guests don't need an app or an account – a phone with a camera is all it takes.
