Frequently asked questions
How do I keep the farewell book a secret?
Set the entries to private: then only you see them – not the rest of the team, and not anyone the link gets forwarded to. And simply don’t send the link to the person leaving.
Do colleagues need an app or an account?
No. They open the link or scan the QR code and write right in the browser, on a work computer or a phone. Only you as the organiser sign in.
Can remote colleagues join in?
Yes. Anyone with the link can add an entry – in the office, working from home or at another location.
How do I hand it over?
As a PDF or a printed book: order the print PDF (A5, one entry per page) from any photo book service. Pagefully doesn’t print books itself.
When should I create the farewell book?
Two to three weeks ahead works well: everyone has time to write, and there’s enough time to get it printed. The book can close automatically on the farewell day.
Does it work for an international team?
Yes. You choose the book’s language (English or German) when you create it; the pages for writing entries appear fully in that language.
Can people write anonymously?
If you want, yes: you can make the name optional. For a farewell book, names usually make it more personal, though.
Where is the data stored?
On servers in Frankfurt, GDPR-compliant. Pagefully is made in Austria and shows no ads.
